Thankfully, I haven’t had to check the bag in yet to test the treatment in the hands of the dreaded TSA worker, but if I did I would be confident my contents would arrive unscathed. The luggage has a reinforced front panel and corners to protect from drops or other distress. The materials are not only rugged enough to withstand the abusive nature of travel, but also lightweight, with the carry-on weighing a mere 8.6 pounds. The luggage is made in Europe at Thule’s in-house manufacturing facilities, is comprised of 100% virgin polycarbonate and uses no recycled materials, which ensures supreme strength without compromise. It suits both genders alike without being too masculine or feminine. Even the vertical and centrally placed emblem emblazoned with the Thule logo is just right with its brushed finish. The overall design is clean, modern, and tasteful.

Each of the handles tucks neatly into place without distracting from the overall shape of the vessel. The vertical contours are reminiscent of modern architecture. The first thing that commands attention is the sleek lines of the luggage’s exterior shell. Also, those looking for a high-end brand name. Those who tend to overpack or need flexibility with storage space, business travelers who want a one-bag solution, and the price-conscious traveler. The business traveler looking to make a statement, the educated consumer, and the casual trip taker who wants a reliable and easy-to-use carry-on solution. Who It SuitsĪnyone looking for design-driven, understated style, and quality hardshell luggage. I brought the Revolve Carry On Spinner on a couple of trips and this is what I came to find. After previously testing their soft-sided Subterra Carry-On, I knew that Thule would not disappoint. I was excited to get my hands on something from the hard-sided luggage collection after seeing it shown at OR last year. So it comes as no surprise that they finally entered the hardshell luggage game and have applied their knowledge and expertise to their new Revolve collection. The company has a rich history that spans over 75 years in product engineering specializing in plastic and metal. Try it, solid game changer. When you think of luggage, the Swedish brand Thule may not be one of the first companies that comes to mind, but that may soon change. Durability is solid as well, got about 8 hours out of it compared to 2-3 for a multi (I play with big spin so 8 hours is a lot for me). I strung it at 48 lbs and that seems to be a really nice tension with great pocketing. Not too powerful so you can really rip it. I can hit shots that curve into the lines for days. I play with the new Yonex DR 98, and the combo is lethal spin, lethal control, and power reserves for days. I was playing with soft multis and switched to this easily, that's how comfortable it is). Much better feel than the original Revolve - better pocketing and a 'crisper' feel, not as springy - and it's super comfortable for a co-poly, zero arm issues (and I have tendinitis in my left wrist and right hand, so if the string is too firm I can't hit it.

A direct competitor to Solinco Hyper G, this one comes with pretty much the same layup: shaped edges, green hue, and a slick coating. I'm going back to stick with the non-shaped Revolve.Ĭomments: Played with the original Revolve, and really liked it, but felt it was 'missing' something. Instead it's just another super dead shaped poly. I loved the Revolve string and thought this string would add a bit more bite on the ball. I can hit flat and topspin shots.Ĭomments: Not a fan. My racquet is a Wilson Blx Six.One 95 16X18 2012 model. Not springy like many other poly strings when the tension is low. First strung at 51, then 54, which was too tight (no power). Can control the pace of the ball really well. From: Lakshmi, 9/28/18Ĭomments: I'm able to hit all the shots. I felt this string to be little less powerful than Hyper-G too and I string it at 55 with 10% pre-stretch and with this low-powered spin friendly string, I can totally rip the ball as I like without having the fear of hitting it out. Most of the strings I tried seemed to be little too powerful on my racquet like RPM Blast, Volkl Cyclone but this string along with Solinco Hyper-G gave me the control I was looking for. Comments: I love this string a lot on my Ezone Dr 100.
